This exhibition invites you to explore the intricate relationships between land, identity, and migration through a curated selection of artworks from the Hispanic Research Center (HRC) art collection. "Perspectives on Land, Identity, and Migration" brings together works created by Latino/a Chicano/a artists that reflect on the complex and often deeply personal connections between people and the land they leave or are nostalgic for.

Through various mediums and perspectives, the artists in this exhibit examine how land shapes identity, how migration influences one's sense of belonging, and how these experiences are intertwined with cultural heritage, memory, and the human experience. By sharing these stories and expressions, we hope to foster a deeper understanding and dialogue on these issues within our community.

Perspectivas sobre la tierra, la identidad y la migración

Esta exposición te invita a explorar las intrincadas relaciones entre la tierra, la identidad y la migración a través de una selección de obras de arte del Centro de Investigación Hispano (HRC) de ASU. "Perspectivas sobre la tierra, la identidad y la migración" reúne obras creadas por artistas latinos/chicanos/as que reflexionan sobre las complejas y, a menudo, profundas conexiones personales entre las personas y la tierra que habitan, dejan o anhelan.

A través de varios medios y perspectivas, los artistas en esta exposición examinan cómo la tierra moldea la identidad, cómo la migración influye en el sentido de pertenencia y cómo estas experiencias están entrelazadas con el patrimonio cultural, la memoria y la experiencia humana.
